Good Earth Expedition operates under the trading name of Good Earth Expedition Travel, a corporation registered in the state of Nevada. In these Terms and Conditions, the terms “tour,” “itinerary,” and “trip” are used interchangeably to refer to the travel arrangements booked with Good Earth Expedition Travel. Similarly, the terms “client,” “guest,” “participant,” “member,” “passenger,” and “traveler” all refer to you, the traveler.

Tour Prices are valid until December 31, 2026, and include the following:

  • Accommodations as specified in each itinerary, based on twin-bed or double-bed rooms (or luxury tents where applicable).
  • Meals as indicated in each itinerary, along with domestic bottled water provided during group meals.
  • Arrival and departure transfers, as well as all other land transportation.

 What if Travel Plans Change?

Credit for Future Travel Dates

This policy provides flexibility if your plans change and you cannot participate in the originally booked tour. By transferring your deposit to another tour within three months, you can utilize the funds without incurring a total loss. The $130 per person transfer fee covers administrative costs associated with modifying the booking. It is important to note that some tours may have a 100% non-refundable/non-transferable deposit, so it is advisable to review the specific terms and conditions for each tour before booking.

Cancellation Less Than 90 Days Prior to Departure

This policy exists because many costs associated with the Africa safari tour are 100% non-recoverable once paid. These include accommodations, transportation, and permits that must be booked well in advance. Canceling less than 90 days before departure results in forfeiting your spot on the tour and prevents others from taking your place. It is crucial to carefully consider your plans and commitments before booking such a trip to avoid financial losses in the event of cancellation.

Cancellation Policy

Cancelled Departures by Good Earth Expedition

To prevent misunderstandings or disputes, it is essential to understand and adhere to our cancellation policy. Please notify us in writing immediately to facilitate a fair resolution for both parties. Note that name changes may not be permitted for certain tours, so it is advisable to confirm this before making any arrangements. Additionally, be aware that partial refunds will not be issued for any unused trip components once the journey has commenced, including missed meals, flights, activities, or transportation. This policy ensures that all participants are accountable for their commitment to the itinerary and responsible for completing all planned activities.

Cancellation Due to Unforeseen Circumstances

In such cases, the safety and well-being of our passengers and staff are our utmost priorities. We will always exercise caution and adhere to the guidance of local authorities and health organizations to ensure everyone’s safety. While we understand that cancellations can be disappointing, the safety and security of all individuals involved in our operations must take precedence. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during these challenging times, which may include situations such as war, civil unrest, pandemics or disease outbreaks (e.g., Ebola, Zika, COVID-19), and catastrophic events like hurricanes, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions—circumstances beyond our control commonly referred to as ‘acts of God.’

By securing travel insurance, you can enjoy peace of mind, knowing you are financially protected should any issues arise during your trip. It is always prudent to be prepared when planning your travels.

We offer the option to reschedule to a later date within a two-year timeframe, providing flexibility in case unforeseen circumstances prevent you from traveling as planned. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in these situations.

Cancellation Due to Insufficient Enrollment

In the event that we must cancel your tour because of insufficient enrollment, we will make every effort to offer you an alternative option. This may include rescheduling the same tour for a different date or selecting another tour that suits your preferences. Should these alternatives not meet your needs, we will issue a full refund of your deposit(s), which will serve as a complete settlement. Please note that we are not liable for any additional expenses you may incur, such as visas, vaccinations, independently purchased airfare, or any other compensation. Notification of cancellation due to insufficient enrollment will be provided no later than 90 days before the scheduled start date of the trip.
