Argentina When To Visit

Argentina is a vast country with diverse geography and climates, which means that the Best Time To Visit Argentina depends on your travel preferences and itinerary.

Generally, the peak travel season is from December to February when the weather is warm and sunny, and many locals are on vacation.

  • If you are planning to visit Patagonia, the best time to go is from November to March, when the weather is mild and the days are longer.
  • If you are planning to visit Buenos Aires, the best time to go is in the spring (September to November) or fall (March to May), when the weather is mild and the crowds are thinner.
  • If you are planning to visit the wine regions of Mendoza or Salta, the best time to go is from March to May or September to November. This is when the vineyards are lush and green, and the grapes are ready for harvest.
